Many of the following key words are found on the Watson
Foundation Page. I include them here to help you envision
the considerations of the W&L selection committee. The ideal
proposal will accommodate all three demands equally. For example,
if your proposal is very flexible, ask yourself if it
is sufficiently structured (and vice versa); if it is extremely
challenging, it may be that it isn't feasible for you, and so
forth. By balancing these opposing demands, you'll be more likely
to meet the overriding goal of "the right project for the
right person".
